According to a report by SavingSpot, which based on data from CashNetUSA has analyzed searches through Google Maps and the official websites of different gym chains around the world, carried out a price comparison to identify and compare the prices of the monthly rates. The exchange of currencies was made through Google Currency Converter, with the euro-dollar exchange and other currencies.

The ranking of the cheapest is headed by Canada with many Low Coast models at (USD 15.9), followed by South Africa, Lithuania and Croatia, this being more a commercial policy than a market necessity; followed by the cheapest in Latin America in fifth place, Colombia, then the US, followed by Poland, Norway, Slovakia and closing the top 10 Argentina.

At the other extreme, we find that the podium of the most expensive countries to go to the GYM is headed by a large difference with the rest of the European countries: Austria (USD 107 per month) with an average of the country, followed closely by Qatar and the Emirates, and Japan (USD 99), China, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland closes the top ten with a country average of USD 73.

Thus, a significant mix of the most expensive gym cultures in the world can be observed: Austria, known for its spa and wellness lifestyle, has high salaries and prices, while the Persian Gulf area stands out for the high incomes received by the citizens of these countries.

It must be pointed out, however, that in the United States (a market with more than 41,000 gyms) there are quite significant variations between states. Thus, while in New York the average is 75.3 dollars, in Wyoming it is half, 38.

The rest of the Latin American countries do not appear in either of the two extremes of the world price ranking.
